Kathryn Terkelson

As a native of New Paltz, I have spent a lifetime exploring all the nooks and crannies of this magnificent region. The beauty, diversity, and communities within the Hudson Valley always pulled me back home, even when life took me to other places.
After graduating from Marist College, I spent almost 10 years at a Fortune 500 retailer, first as an assistant buyer and then as a buyer in home décor. That job took me all over the world- including China, South East Asia, and Europe- teaching me a great deal about business and people. I believe the most important gift that career gave me was the ability to take someone else’s vision, ideas, and goals and turn it into something tangible.
In 2016, my husband and I bought our first home, just miles from where we both grew up. It was during this time that I realized how similar my buying career was to that of a real estate agent’s and how easily the knowledge, experience, and passion translated. My understanding of the Hudson Valley, along with my unique business background, allows me to be a strong advocate for my clients. You can rest assured that I am here to offer support, attention, guidance, and a joke or two, every step of the way.
